Law enforcement asking for public's help in locating missing teenager

The Wapello County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating Jeremy A. Klindt, 15, of Wapello County.

OTTUMWA, IOWA -- The Wapello County Sheriff's Office has confirmed with KTVO that Jeremy A. Klindt turned himself in to the sheriff's office this evening at 8:20 p.m.

Officials say he is safe and sound.


The Wapello County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating Jeremy A. Klindt, 15, of Wapello County.

Jeremy was reported missing to the Wapello County Sheriff's Office on June 1, 2012.

According to the sheriff's office, Jeremy has been known to frequent the Ottumwa Skate Park.

If you have any information on his whereabouts, you are asked to contact the Wapello County Sheriff's Office at 641-684-4350.
