Adults participate in Taste of Truman
KIRKSVILLE, MO -- For those looking back at the glory days of being in college, some get to relive those moments at Truman State.
On campus from Friday through Sunday will be Truman alumni, and people part of the community as they participate in the Taste of Truman.
The goal for adults enrolled this weekend is to get familiar with what is going on Truman and hope they leave with a renewed energy for learning what the university has to offer.
Although this event is in part to help those get reacquainted with Truman, it also benefits the university.
"We're not just about educating our own students, we're also about bringing educational opportunities to others and in that sense it almost focuses as a focus group for us to really get a sense for what people's needs are," said Dr. Kevin Minch.
Nearly 30 adults signed up to take part in this year's Taste of Truman.
Tonight's main event is a reception with the NEMO Alumni Chapter at Dukum Inn.
