DRAKESVILLE, IOWA -- A local company is offering a $500 reward in exchange for information linked to the theft and arson of an employee's car.

According to Sheriff Dave Davis of Davis County, a 2011 Toyota Truck was stolen from the parking lot of Grain Train Express northeast of Bloomfield in the early morning hours Wednesday.

The truck was driven to a wooden, county-owned bridge about one mile south of Drakesville on Ice Avenue and set on fire.

A neighbor called in the fire around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday and Drakesville, Bloomfield and Pulaski fire crews responded. The truck was totaled and Davis County is waiting on an estimate to replace the bridge.

Sheriff Davis said they currently have no leads as to who is behind the incident.

Grain Train Express is offering the reward for any related information. You can call the Davis County Law Center at 664-2385.
