KIRKSVILLE, MO -- What is the status on the criminal charges against Tyler Treece?

It's what you wanted to know for today's Facebook Story of the Day.

Treece is charged in connection with a shooting in Kirksville on Thanksgiving weekend of 2011.   

This was the scene when Kirksville police responded to a report of a female with a gunshot wound. 

When they arrived, police found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.

Tyler Treece, 18, of Edina, was charged with five felony charges. 

Treece was scheduled to go on trial beginning Monday of next week, however that trial will now be delayed. 

Adair County Prosecutor Matt Wilson says, he's still awaiting lab results on testing of the gun allegedly used in the shooting. 

No new trial date has yet been set.
