LA PLATA, MO. -- The City of La Plata is under a boil advisory until 5:30 p.m. June 4.  

According to the City Administrator, Dickie Brown, a water line disintegrated on the east end of Sanders Street in La Plata, Mo. around 2:30 pm Saturday afternoon, causing a leak. City employees then turned off the water until 6:30 p.m. Saturday, when the line was fixed. Brown said all residents living south of the railroad tracks in La Plata are under a boil advisory for the next 48 hours.
