NEMO crash injures one

KNOX COUNTY, MISSOURI -- One person was injured in an early morning crash in northeast Missouri.

The crash occurred just before 2 Tuesday morning.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a car driven by Kelly Miller, 39, of Knox City, was westbound on Highway 11 in Knox County.

The Patrol says Miller fell asleep causing the vehicle to go off the roadway and strike several trees. 

Miller was flown by Air Evac to Northeast Regional Medical Center where he was treated and released.

Miller was cited by the patrol for driving while intoxicated in the crash.
