KIRKSVILLE, MISSOURI -- A Kirksville woman is behind bars, after being arrested on a DWI charge for the fourth time.

Lori Robertson, 43, is charged with DWI-Drug Intoxication – aggravated offender. Robertson was arrested by a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper, following a traffic stop in Kirksville. The trooper made the stop when the vehicle he was following had license plates which a computer check showed belonged to a different vehicle.

According to court papers, the trooper noticed signs of some type of intoxication. Robertson then failed several field sobriety tests. Robertson had previously entered guilty pleas to driving while intoxicated in Clay County in 1991 and Livingston County in 1997. She had also pleaded to a charge of driving with excessive blood alcohol content in Harrison County in 1994.

Robertson is being held in the Adair County Jail under $25,000 cash only bond.
