MACON, MO -- The Missouri State Highway Patrol announces that sometime during the month of April and May 2012, Troop B officers will conduct DWI enforcement operations in Adair and Shelby counties.  During these operations, extra troopers will focus their attention on selected highways with a goal of detecting intoxicated drivers, and hazardous moving, speed, and other traffic violations that cause traffic crashes.

"The Patrol is committed to removing intoxicated drivers from our highways," stated Captain Wilt.  "I would like to urge all motorists to choose a sober designated driver if drinking alcohol is a part of your plans."
