The Knox County Sheriff's Office informed KTVO Friday that one person is now in custody for the recent fuel thefts from farms within the county.
According to court paperwork, Jay Gann, 35, of Clarence, Missouri has been charged with felony counts of burglary and stealing, and a misdemeanor count of property damage.
Gann was arrested following an anonymous tip received by the Knox County Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office says that two witnesses have also come forward in the case.
As of Friday, Gann is being held in the Shelby County Jail on a $20,000 cash only bond.
The Knox County Sheriff's Office told KTVO that they would like to thank viewers for their help in identifying the suspect.
