MORAVIA, IOWA -- Appanoose County Sheriff Gary Anderson released the names Friday of the two victims that died in Tuesday's house fire south of Moravia.
According to the sheriff, George "BIRD" Dwayne Ellison, 50, and his wife Sheila Lorraine Ellison, 50, both lifetime residents of the area were the occupants of the home.
Sheriff Anderson says that both were very well known throughout the area, and very active in the community.
Autopsy results are still pending and the cause of death determination is pending at this time.
