KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- A three car crash at the intersection of Highways 63 and 11 in Kirksville left one woman injured and backed up traffic as people were getting off work.

The accident happened around 4 Wednesday afternoon.

Witnesses told Kirksville Police Officers that a Ford SUV was traveling south on Highway 63 and a white pickup truck was traveling east, crossing Highway 63, when they collided. The Ford SUV was driven by Eden Etteldorf, 25, of La Plata, Mo. Inside her car were also her two children. The white pickup truck was driven by Mary Tague, 44, of Gorin, Mo.

After colliding, the white pickup then spun out and scraped another pickup that was waiting to cross Highway 63 in the westbound lane. That pickup was driven by James Nicholas, 65, of Kirksville, Mo.

Sgt. David Grissom with the Kirksville Police Department told KTVO that Etteldorf was transported to the Northeast Regional Medical Center along with her two children.

Grissom said Etteldorf had minor injuries.
