BLAKESBURG, IOWA -- A Blakesburg man died in a tractor accident a few miles outside the town late Monday afternoon.
Don Theodore Lage, 74, died at the scene of the accident, near the intersection of Bluegrass Road and Copperhead at approximately 1:15 p.m.
The Wapello County Sheriff's Department and the Blakesburg Fire Department responded to the accident and blocked the road to any passing vehicles. They were not able to comment on what happened or what caused the accident.
