Toddler taken to hospital with moderate injuries after car crash

WAYLAND, MO. -- A toddler is taken to the hospital with moderate injuries after a crash Friday evening in Clark County, Mo.  

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Caleb Dillon, 4, of Fort Madison, Iowa, was transported to Keokuk Area Hospital after the car he was riding in overturned.

The accident took place at the intersection of US HWY 61 and Route 27, near Wayland.

The patrol said a Dodge Ram, driven by Patrick Cramer, 24, of Indiana, was traveling northbound when he attempted to make a left turn, and pulled out in front of a Saturn, striking the rear driver's side.

The Saturn was driven by Jonathan Dillon, 28 of Fort Madison, Iowa. Along with Jonathan and Caleb, also riding in the Saturn were Eracka Dillon, 29 and infant Kaila Dillion. They were transported to Keokuk Area Hospital as well.

Everyone involved in the accident was wearing a seatbelt.
