Drug raids land a dozen suspects behind bars

MOBERLY, MO. -- A dozen people are in custody, following an early morning drug sweep in north central Missouri.

The arrests were a culmination of a two-and-a-half-year undercover investigation involving officers from the Moberly Police Department, Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, North Missouri Drug Task Force, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Huntsville Police Department, along with officers from the Mexico Public Safety Department, Columbia Police Department, FBI, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. 

Those arrested face charges of sales of controlled substances and trafficking in drugs. Authorities also seized two handguns during the raids. Additional federal and state warrants are active for even more suspects.
