Ottumwa man behind bars accused of child endangerment

OTTUMWA, IA -- A southeast Iowa man has been charged with child endangerment.

According to the Wapello County Sheriff's Office, Joel Hernandez, 25, of Ottumwa was taken to the Wapello County Jail on Friday morning and charged with the class D felony of child endangerment.

He remains there on a 6,500 dollar bond.
