RANDOLPH COUNTY, MO. -- An elderly man has passed away after being involved in an accident where his pickup truck crashed into a semi.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, around 3:00 p.m. Friday, Robert Riley, 70, of Clark, Mo. was traveling eastbound in his pickup truck on Route B when he attempted to cross US 63. Troopers said Riley failed to yield to a semi, that was traveling northbound on US 63, and drove right in its path. The semi was driven by Bruce Kaschube, 49, of Kirksville, Mo.
