JEFFERSON CITY, MO. -- The Missouri Conservation Commission has set the dates for 2012's Turkey and Deer  hunting seasons.

The Commission has scheduled the Regular Spring Turkey Season for April 16 - May 6. The Fall Firearms Turkey season will run from Oct. 1 - 31. The 2012 Youth Spring Turkey Season will take place the weekend of March 31- April 1. The Commission has also set Nov. 10 as opening day for the November portion of Firearms Deer Season.

Spring turkey permits will go on sale on March 1.  This year, the Conservation Commission says hunters will be able to purchase and print their permits from home computers, using the new e-permits procedure. For more information, head to this link.
