Van collides with Mt. Pleasant school bus

MT. PLEASANT, IOWA -- Six Mt. Pleasant Community School District students suffered minor bumps and bruises when a van hit a district school bus Wednesday morning.

Superintendent John Roederer tells KTVO that the collision occured in town near Linden Heights.

The van apparently hit an ice patch.

No students were transported to the hospital.

Roederer did not know the condition of the van driver.

The accident is under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
