KIRKSVILLE, MISSOURI -- A northeast Missouri man facing multiple felony charges in connection with a shooting in Kirksville was in court Wednesday.

Tyler Treece, 18, of Edina, is charged with first and second degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action and endangering the welfare of a child.

The attorney for Treece asked for a bond reduction, which was denied by Associate Judge Kristie Swaim.

Treece remains behind bars in the Adair County Jail under $250,000 cash only bond. December 14 is the date set for a preliminary hearing.
