UNIONVILLE, MO. -- She's being touted as the new queen of bluegrass, and Sunday evening, she and her band The Rage, sang their hearts out during an afternooon concert at the Putnam County High School.

Rhonda Vincent put on the show in honor of Todd Hatfield, who recently won runner-up for the Missouri Mental Health Man of the Year contest. The concert was also sponsored by the Unionville Lions Club.

The Greentop, Missouri native and now Kirksville resident said she is happy to be home. On Friday, she performed in Ohio for Veterdan's Day and then on Saturday, she held a concert in Springfield, Illinois. After that, she traveled to Unionville- Heartland territory.

KTVO sat down to talk to her about her latest projects.

"Well we just filmed a live, all gospel, DVD at the Greentop Methodist Church... so watch out  for that next year," said Vincent. "It was right when the storms were here in June. There was no electricity in Greentop, or the surrounding cities, so we made an electrical connection to our bus and we filmed there for 3 days and I'm very excited about that."
