Brashear accident

BRASHEAR, MO. -- A Kirksville man has moderate injuries after being involved in an accident early Saturday. 

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, around 2 a.m., Michael Hines, 25, was driving southbound on Route J in Brashear when his truck ran off the side of the road, struck a sign, embankment and then a tree before it came to rest.

He was then transported to Northeast Regional Medical Center.

He was not wearing a seatbelt.
