QUEEN CITY, MO. --

A northeast Missouri woman jailed on 24-hour hold has been released from custody.

Queen City Police Officer Jonathan Heath and two Schuyler County deputies arrested Brandi Molett, 25, of Queen City, Wednesday after conducting a search of her home. Heath told KTVO that he had received a report of illegal drug use at the suspect's home. Heath said Molett was subject to warrantless searches because of prior offenses. The officer said he arrested the suspect after finding drug paraphernalia and what appeared to be drug residue.

On Wednesday night, Molett was being held in the Adair County Jail pending the filing of formal charges, charges were not filed and she was released from custody.
