KIRKSVILLE, MO -- Northeast Regional Medical Center announced Wednesday that Eric Barber, CEO, Northeast Regional Medical Center has been named one of “291 Hospital and Health System Leaders to Know” by Becker’s Hospital Review, which recognizes individuals leading prominent American healthcare organizations.
Armed with impressive accomplishments, extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry, these men and women continue to guide their respective organizations through change and innovation.
Mr. Barber joined Northeast Regional Medical Center as Chief Executive Officer in May, 2010. With over 10 years of healthcare experience in a variety of acute healthcare systems, Barber has successfully completed multiple plant facility projects at Northeast, including renovation of the OB/GYN/Nursery Unit, Patient Care Tower and a new Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Mr. Barber has recruited several new specialists to the NRMC Medical Staff, including Urology, Orthopedics, Neurology, and Internal Medicine physicians.
Northeast Regional Medical Center was named by Becker’s Hospital Review as one of America’s 50 Best Hospital in February, 2011. Hospitals were selected as well-known academic medical centers recognized for excelling in innovations, high-quality care and putting patients first.
