OTTUMWA, IA -- A heartland teen health center has received a $35,000.00 grant from the Ottumwa Regional Legacy Foundation Auxiliary.

In order to improve the health of local teens, the O-R-L-F has committed to help fund the teen center for the next five years, staring in January.

The teen health center provides health care to 1200 area students and was visited over 500 times last year.

The goal is to provide teens with access to health care and prevent lost wages for parents who have to take time off from work.
