MACON, MO. -- Macon County residents stepped up to the plate against cancer.

Relay For Life of Macon County held its annual "Babes For A Cure" softball game Saturday afternoon.

18 men from Missouri State Highway Patrol, Macon Fire Department, and Macon County Sheriff's Office dressed up as women and played the game for a great cause. The teams were divided up by the colors pink and purple.

Many people came out for a day of family fun and cheered them on.

Their was a concession stand that provided food and snacks to the participants.

All proceeds from the game will benefit the organization for their Relay For Life event which is scheduled for next June.
