FAIRFIELD, IOWA -- New jobs are on the drawing board for a Heartland manufacturer.

Harper Brush Works is planning to consolidate its distribution operations to its Fairfield location.

Fairfield has been home to the company's national headquarters since its start in 1900.

Harper Brush Works manufactures brooms, brushes, and handheld cleaning products.

The consolidation is part of the company's Performance Improvement Program.

The plan will add 25 to 30 new jobs, but is contingent on an incentives package seeking approval by the City of Fairfield and the Iowa Department of Economic Development.
