KIRKSVILLE, MO -- The City of Kirksville announces they are accepting sealed bids for surplus furniture and unclaimed property. Sealed bids are being accepted at the City Clerk’s office in City Hall, 201 South Franklin Street, Kirksville, MO 63501 until 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 23, when the bids will be opened. The highest bidder on each item will be contacted. Surplus includes desks, chairs, computer tables and a few miscellaneous unclaimed property items. All surplus property is located in the basement of City Hall. A list of the surplus property items for sale can be viewed at the City’s web site, www.kirksvillecity.com, click on Administration and Bid Information.
Items must be paid for and removed from premises by Friday, August 26. Payment must be made with cash or check with photo ID. All property will be sold as is—No refunds.
The City of Kirksville also has pavers for sale at 15 cents each in quantities of 300 per pallet. A minimum of 300 pavers is required per purchaser. The pavers will be sold at this price until the supply is depleted. Contact the City Clerk’s office at 660-627-1225.
