BURLINGTON, IA (AP) -- An investigation is underway after the body of a Heartland woman was found in some woods in southeast Iowa.

The Des Moines County Sheriff's Office says Jana Coberley, 32, of Mount Pleasant was reported missing to the Burlington Police Department two days ago.

Authorities say her body was found Wednesday night in a wooded area in the 17000 block of Highway 99.

The Sheriff's Office says Coberley's body was found by deputies and family members.

The Des Moines County Sheriff's Office was helped in the search by Great River Medical Center Med Force and the Iowa State Patrol.

An autopsy of Coberley's body was scheduled for Thursday.
