Guilty plea to sex charges

KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- A Kirksville man is headed to prison following his plea of guilty to a pair a sex related charges. 

Adair County Prosecutor Matt Wilson told KTVO, Curtis Anderson, 20, entered the guilty pleas Tuesday in an Adair County courtroom. Anderson pleaded guilty to one count each of First Degree Child Molestation and Second Degree Child Molestation. The charges stemmed from incidents involving females aged 14 and 9.

In addition to the 8 years on the first degree plea, Anderson was sentenced to six months in the Adair County Jail on the second degree plea. 

Following his release, Anderson will be required to register as a sex offender for the remainder of his life.
