BLOOMFIELD, IOWA -- Citizens Mutual Telephone in Bloomfield, Iowa wants to help people use their computers to their full potential.

Once a month all year they will hold sessions helping computer users from everything to basic email and even selling things on eBay.

With more and more people joining social networks the company decided to have a session just about social media this fall.

“There's definitely a real interest in social networking,” general manager Joe Snyder said.

Some of the questions include which sites are better and how you stay secure on sites like Twitter and Facebook.  Another issue is just being secure on the internet in general.

"Obviously the first thing is to make sure they're always dealing with somebody that they're comfortable with, somebody that has a reputation of providing a good product.  As far as from the security standpoint, we strongly recommend that they have some sort of security on their computer to make sure that they don't get viruses that attack them."

If you would like to know when the next session is you can call 641-664-2074.
