DES MOINES COUNTY, IOWA -- A Lee County woman is arrested after attempting to stab her live-in boy friend.

Ashley Starr Harzke, 21 of  Wever,  faces charges of Willful Injury and Domestic Assault Aggravated after an incident Tuesday in rural Des Moines County.

According to Des Moines County Sheriff's officials, Harzke broke into the residence she shared with Anthony Krugle at 19152 Skunk River Road. 

At some point during the altercation, Harzke picked up a knife and gave Krugle two cuts and what is described as a minor stab wound.

Harzke was released on Wednesday after posting a $7,000 bond.

Wever is near the Des Moines County, Lee County line.
