MACON, MISSOURI -- MoDOT crews will be conducting surface repairs on US 36 East in Linn County on Wednesday, February 23 and Thursday, February 24. Surface repairs will begin at Route W, at the Meadville junction, and will continue east for approximately 10 miles. Traffic will be reduced to one lane from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Motorists are encouraged to exercise caution and pay close attention when traveling in the work zone. The work is weather dependent and could be delayed or rescheduled.
MoDOT is seeking traveler feedback on construction work zones on state highways with the goal of making them safer and better. A customer survey, available on MoDOT's web site at www.modot.org/workzones/comments.htm allows you to provide feedback on specific work zones through which you have traveled.
