Press release from the Appanoose County Sheriff
(MOULTON, Iowa) - At approximately 5:52 p.m. on Monday, December 13th, the Appanoose County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ronald A. Singley, age 42, at 32342 535th Street, Moulton. Singley was charged with Trespass; Harassment in the First Degree and Carrying Weapons.
Singley is accused of entering upon the property at 504 East 3rd Street in Moulton and harassing an occupant at the residence. While at the residence Singley is accused of displaying a firearm.
As a result of the investigation, during the late night hours of Monday, December 13, 2010 and early morning hours of Tuesday, December 14, 2010 the Appanoose County Sheriff; Centerville Police; South Central Iowa Drug Task Force; and Iowa Division of Narcotics; served a search warrant at Ronald Singley’s residence, located at 32342 535th Street, Moulton.
Various items used in the manufacture of methamphetamine were discovered during the execution of the search warrant. Items seized and located included but not limited to: punched starting fluid cans; empty cans of camping fuel; burnt internal parts of lithium Page 2
batteries; and other items used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine.
Singley, age 42, of rural Moulton, was charged with Manufacturing of more than five (5) grams of Methamphetamine, a Class "B" Felony.
Singley is currently being held in the Appanoose County Jail in lieu of $105,000.00 cash bond.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
