DAVIS COUNTY, IOWA -- A Heartland was killed in a Davis County crash Friday afternoon.
Harold McKim, 66, of Albia was southbound on Highway 63 just north of the Missouri state line.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, McKim struck a deer and ran off the road, hitting a tree.
McKim was pronounced dead on scene.
Injured in the crash was Carolyn McKim, 67, of Albia.
She was transported to Davis County Hospital for treatment.
