Funeral set for Kirksville teen

WAYNESVILLE, MO. -- Funeral services are set for this Saturday for a Kirksville teen who died as a result of a Friday morning car crash.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Montana Parsons, 17, was rounding a curve on Route Y in Audrain County when his vehicle went off the road and hit an embankment.

Parsons was taken to University Hospital in Columbia where he was pronounced dead early Saturday morning.

Parson’s funeral is being held at 1 p.m. on December 11, 2010 at Memorial Chapels and Crematory in Waynesville, Mo.
