OTTUMWA, IOWA -- Sounds of great music were heard on the Indian Hills campus.

The 2010 Kidsymphony was held in the Saint John Auditorium.

The concert has been going strong for nearly 20 years.

Concerts are held in Ottumwa, Mount Pleasant and Burlington.

Both adults and children can participate in the event.

Kids were given musical instruments so they could sing along with the orchestra.

Music Director of the Southeast Iowa Symphony Robert McConnel said the program is good family fun for all ages and that there are more concerts to come. “It’s always fun,” McConnel said. “People bring babies and kids up to Junior High and adults come just to hear the music.”

More concerts are coming this winter. Click here for a list of schedules.
