KIRKSVILLE, MO -- KTVO is available on Dish Network to subscribers in the Kirksville and Ottumwa surrounding areas. This includes both of KTVO’s channels.
“Well for our new customers, both ABC and CBS are carried on Dish Network as part of the local channels package and that’s included in all of our packages now offered to new customers” said Cable Technologies Owner Chuck Updyke. “Existing customers have been getting a discount of $5 when they didn’t have these locals previously.”
Updyke said existing customers should call (800) 333-3474 to order the local channels at a cost of $5.
“They’ll appear on the box in a few minutes” said Updyke. “Nothing they have to program and you just simply enter the channel number to access it. Just hit channel 3 on the remote control (for ABC) or 33 for CBS.”
All satellite companies will be required by law to carry local markets within a few years.
