MILLARD, MO -- The 3rd Annual Depot Inn and Suites Kirksville Regional Air Festival ended with a bang on Sunday with the crowd favorite Air Show.  The show included performances by Team Aerostar as well as stunts from Susan Dacy, Bob Richards and Skip Stewart.

Even the United States Air Force was on hand, showing off two A-10 Thunderbolts.

“It’s the Air Force's premier close air support air craft” said pilot Major Johnnie Green.  “Built around a gigantic gun, a 30 millimeter Gatling gun that shoots rounds out at 70 per second designed to take out enemy forces and we’re flying actively in Afghanistan today.”

Green said they nicknamed the A-10 Thunderbolt “The Warthog”.

A jet-powered port-a-potty and school bus also drew some attention.  The jet-powered port-a-potty is equipped with a 1,000 horsepower jet engine with flames bursting out of the back, topping out at 70 MPH.  The jet-powered school bus is equipped with a 42,000 horsepower General Electric J-79 Jet Engine straight out of an F4 Phantom Jet, topping out at 350 MPH.
