Woman seriously injured in Highway 36 wreck

BEVIER, MO. -- A Macon, Mo., woman was seriously injured in a crash Saturday afternoon.

The wreck happened around 1 p.m. on eastbound Highway 36 near Bevier, Mo.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 72-year-old Phyllis Hoffman's vehicle was forced off the roadway by an unknown vehicle. Hoffman's car flipped over and she was airlifted to University Hospital in Columbia, Mo.
