Gas prices in both Missouri and Iowa, although both higher than one year ago, remain below the national average. 

Our Fact Finder team discovered the average price in Iowa stands at $2.64/gallon, the average price in Missouri is at $2.51/gallon, both are below the national average which currently sits at $2.71/gallon. Although prices in both Iowa and Missouri are below the national average, they are both higher than one year ago. The price in Iowa was nearly 28 cents a gallon higher than last year at this time, while in Missouri the price was 23 cents a gallon higher.
