KIRKSVILLE, MO --
Stop by the Adair County Courthouse Saturday to meet the candidates.
The clerk's office is holding a Voter Education Day, which is a chance to chat with those running for election in August. Most of the county and state candidates will be on the courthouse lawn to answer your questions.
It's also a chance to learn everything you ever wanted to know about the election process.
“We are planning to have machines up on the courthouse lawn so we can teach everybody how to use them, we have new poll books that we'll be rolling out in August,” said County Clerk Sandy Collop.
Free lunch will be provided on the courthouse lawn, as well as entertainment and even a clown for the kids.
Join in the festivities with candidates Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
