KIRKSVILLE, MO --

There are still potholes galore around Kirksville.

Our Fact Finder Team hit the streets to check out the worst areas of town. The pothole situation is still pretty grim on North Davis, Centennial, and Overbrook Drive.

Public works is using a Dura Patcher machine to patch the city streets.

“We've been running with that for about six weeks when the weather's dry enough to let us get it out and work. We've used a little over 86 tons worth of material and so today they're working down on the south end of town,” said John Buckwalter, Director of Public Works.

Buckwalter is planning a permanent repair to the worst streets. Until that can be arranged through a contractor, city crews will continue to patch potholes on those streets.
