KIRKSVILLE, MO -- The Fastenal Company is on its way to Kirksville, and bringing a few new jobs.

A new location is in the works for Kirksville, which is in the beginning stages of building on North Baltimore Street.

The store will be 5000 square feet of showroom warehouse, and will look similar to the Macon location. It'll start off with three employees. More will be added as sales grow.

“The best thing about it is we are open to the general public, so a lot of people don't realize that, that anybody can come in and buy something from our counter, so you've got a large company with a lot of products to choose from, but it's available to the general public just in Kirksville,” said District Manager Jim Kelahan.

Fastenal should be up and running in Kirksville by July 1.
