KAHOKA, Mo. –– A Kahoka, Mo., resident has been arrested for elder abuse by neglect, according to Clark County Sheriff Paul Gaudette.

Bill Duey, 58, will retire April 2 after 36 years with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. For the last 24 years Duey has been the operations project manager for Rathbun Lake.

Missouri's Attorney General predicts that Premium Standard Farms will violate a consent decree, which comes due on July 31. That consent decree came after a lawsuit was filed in 2001 by area residents, and PSF was given a six-year extension in 2004.
