Because Kirksville R-III District Schools have exceeded the number of snow days allowed, students may have to go to school on their day off. The Kirksville School Board is considering using Monday April 5th as a make-up day. Without a make-up day, R-III schools might have to extend their calendar to June 1st to meet state requirements. The school board is currently gathering input from teachers and staff about whether or not to schedule the make-up day. The board will reach a decision during their monthly meeting on March 16th.
