KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- We're halfway through the flu season and one local health department is making it easier than ever for businesses to get the vaccine.

The Adair County Health Department is currently contacting area businesses to offer clinics to employers and employees.

Officials will come to your business and offer the H1N1 vaccine at no cost to you.

“The cold weather forces a lot of people to remain indoors and we're just trying to reach out to local businesses and employees to provide flu, H1N1 vaccinations if they would like for us to come to their facilities” said Lori Guffey, R.N.

Guffey says the health department remains very busy with flu clinics throughout the flu season.

The vaccine is offered at no cost to both Adair County and non-county residents.

If you're business is interested in the vaccine, call the health department at 660-665-8491.

Check out the community calendar on the home page for a list of upcoming vaccines at the health department.
