MOUNT PLEASANT, IOWA (AP) -- Henry County authorities say they are investigating a school bus accident south of Mount Pleasant.
Authorities say there were no injuries as a result of the accident early Monday.
Iowa Department of Public Safety spokeswoman Jessica Lown says seven students, in addition to the driver, were aboard the Mount Pleasant School District bus. She noted not all the students were elementary school age.
Lown said the wheels of the bus dropped off a road and tipped into a ditch. She said the bus was moving slowly east of U.S. Highway 218 when the mishap occurred.
