OTTUMWA—Local entertainers and performing artists are being sought to be a part of the lineup for the RAGBRAI® visit to Ottumwa on Thursday, July 23.   A performing stage will be set up in the shady park area across the street from Bridge View Center near the vendor area. Shady Grove Stage will provide a venue for local performing artists.   The stage area will be approximately 12’ x 16’ with a small sound system.

A number of local acts have signed up to perform, but a few slots remain open.   Local musicians, dancers, magicians and other performing artists are encouraged to sign up to perform on the Shady Grove Stage.  There is no compensation for performers, but they may promote and sell performance related merchandise like t-shirts, compact discs or books. Interested performers should contact Marc Lay at 641-799-9502 or email at marclay@mchsi.com.
