DAVENPORT, Iowa (AP) - An investigation continues into the death of woman who was hit by a train in downtown Davenport. Police say the woman was hit by the moving train around 11 p.m. on Saturday. The accident happened at a pedestrian railroad crossing near the Rhythm City Casino. The woman's name has not been released. Casino spokesman Mo Hyder says the woman was a longtime employee of the casino. Police say a preliminary investigation shows all warning devices at the crossing and on the train were in use and functioning properly.
