KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- The Kirksville Women of Today held their annual craft and artisan show on Saturday.

This is the 19th year of the event and nearly 40 vendors filled the Kirksville Middle School gym selling textile crafts, apparel, home goods and much more.

Vendors came as far as 90 miles away to show off their crafts to the Kirksville community.

Nancy Asher, a member of the Kirksville Women of Today, tells us they gather vendors every spring and fall for their craft show.

"We gathered the vendors today to be able to show their work and share it with the community," Asher said. "We use the proceeds from the craft show in here to help do projects within the community just our of our treasury."

There was also a concession stand with more than 17 pies selections.

This year, proceeds from the event's concessions will be donated to Kirksville Baseball and Softball Association for scholarships and equipment.
